I have a lovely Diva Cucumber plant. The cucumbers come out nice looking and the plant has been very generous. But the cucumbers are not sweet as promised. I have picked them smaller and larger with the same result. Is it a myth that they are sweet? Seems like a waste of good food, but they're almost inedible. Any thoughts? I have a Sweet Success right next to it, and those have been tasty, although they are not attractive. why

I am not sure. But if we find an answer I may find out why my figs taste like cardboard. I'm thinking it is the feeding or lack of, maybe.
