Ok, here goes....
I have a fairly new airplane plant it was doing wonderful when....... It got knocked off and fell one the floor. The plant came out of the pot. I put it back and put some new dirt on it, but the vine that was on it with small babies on it broke off. Can i stick the whole vine in water and it be ok? will it grow another vine? The plant is still small, but the vines are kinda different from my spider plant, so i was unsure.
Thanks for the help!

I always thought an airplane plant and a spider plant were the same thing. When I google they come up totally interchangeable.
I cut off any long broken stems and set the baby plants into the soil lightly, roots down. They are tough plants.

Yes they are the same plant. I have two of them and so far only one has set two others on the long stem.
