Has anyone tried using honey to propagate instead of the commercial rooting powder? We try to be as chemical-free as possible in my home and with a 2 yr old especially, it's not good to have so many toxins around! This sounds too good to be true!

I tried to remember, but I said, "What's a flower?" You said, "I still love you..." (Dar Williams)~

I have very rarely used rooting powders of any kind. When I had it I forgot it all of the time. When I remembered to use it, I never saw any differences.
I have used honey on wounds to help them heal though. It really helps.
