I used to have a small pillow stuffed w/ lavender and hops. It was a lovely little sleep aid.

You can smell it as soon as you drive into town. There are over 20 lavender farms there and they say it's the lavender capital of north america. Maybe I could retire there someday. Don't know if Aros would be okay with that though. Imagine how re

There's one thing the girls have done before, frying. Supervised of course because it scares them a little but I hate frying up zucchini because it's time consuming, so the girls will volunteer to do it for me. They love fried zucchini so they know

Finally got my lavender festival pictures uploaded. It was both a tiring and fun day. We had to wait in line for the ferry for over two hours then got stuck in traffic for another hour on the other side of the water. What should have been no more

Sheri ~ mostly the squash grows downward from the bucket and will spread on the porch floor and between the railings to trail downward toward the ground. And no, they don't usually break unless a neighborhood kid interferes with them.

too bad for your DH. are you sure there is not some quiet part that yo can do first--to give him a few more minutes rest. I would hate for him to be cranky and there you'll be all handy to be crankly at.
