Lilacs do what they want. I planted a light purple one at the same time as my B-I-law....I'm still waiting for a single bloom on it and his has bloomed for a few years.

I honestly think they do better with neglect.

It'll work, your gonna need a sunny window to hand them in though. Just buy some strawberry plants from a local nursery and plant them up. Or you could get some baby plants from runners if you have a neighbour that plants them.

Sounds like aphids. There are organic sprays or you can buy lady bugs from a mail order company and they will eat them.

There are two types of grub pesticides. So you will need to be careful which one you are applying.

Thats normal alot of times for tomatoes. Look at the branches that are turning yellow- where it joins the main stem. If you see a small sprout at the joint- the plant is just shedding off the sucker branch for new growth. I usally just prune off the
