just the other day I saw one of the white mushrooms that look like those in the first pictures. mine were split open, but not as uniform and flower like as yours.

I'll probably throw something on the pit and make a dessert. We will probably celebrate it saturday or sunday. if that hurricane comes in it may be raining on monday. any ideas on a labor day type dessert?

Hello folks, I am not sure anyone asked directly but the second mushroom, the one with the kitty is a Russula they are easy to identify by the fact that the stalk is fleshy and snaps cleanly like a piece of chalk, in some cases you can hear the "snap

Good grief. I'm still running the air conditioner. It's HOT. How in the world do you guys get tomatoes and cucumbers to grow. Ours take a while to ripen up. I still have green tomatoes on the vine. (don't tell cindy)
