My onion braid for the fair didn't turn out and unraveled and I didn't show it. I braided lots of braids of my storage onions and they are clipped on a drying rack (pea fences made into a table). I think they are really hard to braid if they are big.

I think 7 miles is close too but I guess not compared to right across the street. I'm 16 miles from Darbi and Colby.

I don't care if I have mice under there. They run away when you move the stuff or the cat gets them. I just don't want them in my house. Can't stand the critters.

Planting veggies of the same family close together or in the same place each season just increases the chances of the pests and disease those plants get. For instance potato beetles like potatoes, eggplant and tomatoes. Otherwise it isn't that big

Watch out, sometimes there are mice living under the cardboard and making a nest with shredded newspaper.

That made me go map out how far it will take me to drive there. A mere 1,225 miles or 19 hours. A snap.
I will do this one day.

I figure that Tam doesn't have much of a fall at all. Probably a few days and then BAM right into snow and winter.

I like Fall, but it just never seems that long. Fall and Spring should both be a little longer.

Leftover chili is pretty tasty though Loz. You could always freeze some too. Makes for an easy supper one night.

We are having summer squash and brats tonight.
