Well I have not seen the fish since I put them in - hope they are doing ok - they are probably in the large 1/2 pot in the bottom - thankfully they have not come up dead by the skimmer.

The plants in the pond gardens continue to do well

THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE, DODGE... BUT...

It's still very warm HERE and they are STILL growing...

Shouldn't I wait til it gets chilly enough for them to go dormant?

Can I REALLY, SAFELY just whack away at them?

Sure you can!

Sialis is the scientific name for a Bluebird. The FULL scientific name for a Bluebird is Siala Sialis . No, I am not one to learn and use scientific names...not even for plants and birds...but I DO know a few.

I've been taking Amber out in her carrier to sit on the deck with me in the sun a few times this summer. When she and Roxie were smaller, I used to put both of them in it and they'd enjoy the warmth and a different view for a change.
