Well I don't have allergies, so I doubt that is it. And I do get Migraines, but I would think the dizziness linked to that wouldn't last a whole week, would it? I have no idea. I just hate going to the doctor and waiting for a diagnosis.. trial and e

Keep the bird bath clean and full of water and the feeders full and they will come. When we first moved here I was worried because I didn't hear any birds, but after a while they came to the feeders and come back every year now.

Sorry to tell you that you can't get rid of it. It has a runner root system, it's a type of bamboo and just comes right back. Cut it back, thin it out and make it look better but keep in mind it will return. I'm speaking from experience.

I always think of slugs first when I think of leaves being chewed up.
Especially when it's been very wet like it's been here, the slugs are out in hordes.
BTW, don't feel bad....I'm not organic. To each his own I say!
