I am glad to see this month end...it has been non stop running the past two weeks with appt's for everyone. I was gone all day yesterday with GB and his yearly check ups and such. GG's is on Monday. It seems the appt's can never fall on the same days

Sunny I know at the Health Department they tried to NOT put physical appointments for children in the same family at the same time because it takes too long for that one appointment slot. I know I'm retired but I've got errands or church or grands or something every day it seems and I'd like a few days with nothing to do. More power to you for taking care of GG and GB like you do.
I forget the time a lot too or put it on another forum like a crazy person.
Junie hope you had fun with your sister. I need to ride out to my mothers.

Hi all...thanks for the kind words.
GG has a fever and sore throat...and it starts again. She was supposed to go to her mom's for a sleepover and a haircut appt.
I have cleaning to do today...we are supposed to get showers through out, so inside I will be.

We had a terrifying storm this afternoon. Our house actually shook from the thunder twice. Andy does not like storms.
Sorry GG isn't feeling well. Hope it's a short illness.

GG feels a it better today. Tina, I hope everything gets in order soon for you  We spent the day getting a farm field in order with fresh seed. Then we came home to a new calf being born...a little bull this time. Showers again for today, we had thunder last night as well Sheri....my dandelions need to be cut soon

Glad that you hired out the work, Tina.
My oldest grandson (5-1/2) was in a run today...when the organizer saw the forlorn look on his brother;s face (he is not yet 4..(the minimum age) he invited him to run. The littel guy was SO excited...he ran & finished the whole race. Grandma is so proud of them both !!

Hi all,
I just read back, you all have been busy! I'm finally taking a day off from traveling and visiting and then getting my house back to whatever normal is... been a long couple weeks for us... all our company (kids) are back home now.. just us 2 now... took me awhile to get beds and clothes washed and put away.. we are going out to J's sis's house in and hour or so for bbq and swimming... we all need some easy time right now...
Thanks all for the condolences... she lived a long wonderful life and just went to sleep at the end... was a blessing for her and us...
and yes was good to see all the family get together , seems like funerals and weddings are the only time it happens … but did reconnect with some family so that was good too.
Well I am off to get ready to go.. gotta get my homemade dog food in crock pot for our picky dog... have a good day all!

Hi Nana. Tina, I hope you slept well last night I have to take GG to the dentist this a.m. then buy some mulch and soil amendments....I only have $30 to spend so I hope there is a good sale. We had a hard frost this a.m, could be worse....Newfoundland woke up to snow.

Nana, so sorry to hear of your loss. It is always hard, no matter how long they lived or how easily they passed. We still feel the loss and I am sorry for your sadness.
I too have been gone a while due to life's turns and obstacles. My DH was diagnosed with colon cancer and will be going into surgery tomorrow morning at 5:30a. He is "prepping" today. This was sudden, even though we are not surprised, been thinking for a time that something was not right. Anyway, after tomorrow, we will know more. I will try to get back with updates, but for at least the next week I will be pretty tied up. My work is being "ok", but my boss is not in reality. He seems to think I will be out Tuesday and back full force on Wednesday (and those are his exact words), but it just doesn't work like that. DH will be in the hospital until at least Friday if now longer. Oh well, will take it as it comes.
Prayers please and will try to stay in touch.

Hi all,
Thanks everyone for the prayers and good wishes... and sending out mine for your hubby MJ, hope work boss gets his head our of clouds for your sake.. some people can't see beyond the office door...
Had a good time with in-laws last evening- swam in the pool and had a good steak dinner... sis in law is supposed to come today but she is always late so heading to the store to find a shelf unit for hubby's collections of stuff, and whatever else is on my list... have purged my closet again.. so have a couple or three bags of donation stuff to get rid of too. .giving a dresser to my sis in law , her hubby is supposed to pick it up today... to heavy for me to pick up or we would have taken it last evening.. I love getting rid of stuff we don't use...or need anymore..
Well hubby is almost ready to go so better get moving.. hot already today... supposed to hit 100* …

Mary: Prayers for your Husband, I went thru Prostate cancer with my DH..so I sorta understand.....and IMO do what you need to for you and your Hubby.
If the boss does not like it, well there are other jobs.
