Hi,
A few months ago I had a very tall Crape Myrtle cut down for it had grown past the power lines. However, it was not hauled away immediately and now I have a few spots in the yard where it took root; particularly around the base of the tree. What's the best way to get rid of them? Thank you

Crape myrtles will grow from seeds. They will also set suckers from the base especially if they are trimmed on top. For the latter digging up and/or killing off the trunk is the best option. For others you may just have to dig or pull until you have gotten rid of them.
