I planted a couple of Mona Lisa lilys in my garden a week or so ago when they were budding. They initially opened and looked beautiful but the weather in zone 6 has been very volatile (chilly to extremely hot) and the buds prior to opening became brown. The flowers still opened and at the same time the leaves are turning brown. I've also seen a couple of bugs but don't know what they are. Are the lilys just doing their thing or has something gone terribly wrong?

zone 5 here had a lily problem on my first Yellow lily blooms. Something was eating holes in it.
I took an mixed a little dish soap in water an sprayed them.
Helped a little. Now all Lilys after that are fine???????

First time ever.

Weather may be a hamper.Lilys love cold.

i also have a japanese beetle problem in the Hollyhocks. I spray that too.
