[color:#FF0000] HERE WE GO ON THE ONION seeds I PLANTED ON JAN 8. THEY ARE growing , BENDING CAN DO BETTER UNDER FULL LIGHTS. I HAVE A WINDOW AN ON E LIGHT.
IS HOW I DID IT LAST YEAR ..WORKED .
WILL BE SMALL AT PLANTING TIME, BUT THEY GROW FAST IF KEPT WATERED.

Very nice dodge...I have never seen onions grown from seed. Here we have to plant the bulbs to have them grown with our short season.

Welcome to the club. Last year was the first I layed eyes on seed growing onions. My friend (zone 5) did it in her greene house. She provide me with seeds in february. I planted them and put them in the garden in april.
They were as nice as the bulb I have grown for years.
Give they a try, you may be suprised.
