I have rose Of Sharon growing by me. I started out having separate plain white and pink flowers, with the center having a pinkish color. Over the years the 2 flowers crossed, and some seeds have developed into small shrubs with interesting colored flowers. One shrub had white flowers with magenta striping on each flower petal, nothing i've ever seen before. So I found the best looking flower out of 4 or 5 that looked like that, and am growing the seeds.

My question is, will the offspring have those exact color/patterned flowers?

ohhhhhhhhhhhh Good Question,, I would likely say no,,,,, But if chance it does you'll have a new Hybrid,, that's a cool thing the cross pollination ! that happen with me once with some morning glories,, some of the seeds when back to true while others continued as the crossed but only for one season,
