My constantly re locateing pond.I just might keep it here.It seems to do great...even with being pumpless.
Has a pair of white blooming water lillys
A grand slam water lotus
lizzards tail
planted around outside of pond
8 different brugmansia
agapanthus seedlings
yellow iris
ornamental corn
dwarf banana/ cavendish banana
zinnias
red okra
red salvia
B&B salvia
marigolds
dreamward rose
tequilia agave
glads
nasturuim(I never give up)
white cleome
crinuim lilly(white& pink)

the birdhouse section has red hooneysuckle start,a blue JMG,white moonvine,red salvia B&B salvia,white cleome.white yarrow.Its a red/white blue thing...to match the birdhouse& should be intresting by years end.

that is really pretty, is your garden area a star shape? it looks like it in the picture. how do you keep the mosquitos at bay if there is no water moving?

minnows...tadpoles frogs eat them & dragonflys.I imagine the lil frogs staying thats proably its primary diet.

Mine just has a solar pump, so it's stagnant a lot of the day.....I have a ton of mosquito fish and they eat all the larvae from the mosquitos though.

I've got 79 photos to offload off camera.you should see the purple varigation on rotas banana now.AND its leaves are bigger.It won't stay in ground for winter.That one& prince will go to pots and sit in kitchen for the winter.I've not heard good things about lil Prince.seems a dud that Lowes supplies(no wonder it was 75% off huh)Maybe tomorrow you'll see more pics.

Here's a shot...you can see the critters in the water.The glads planted at back are starting to get their buds.I get dragonflys& butterflys land on the pads for a drink.
