My Doll House

old I recently won this doll house in a raffle but its not really something that is "me" so I am hoping to sell it. (not on here, because it has to be picked up or delivered...) This fully furnished doll house is 45" wide, 48" tall and 24" deep.

Yes, it is a very nice doll house. Any little girl would be happy to have it.

Some little girl will be thrilled to receive it. You need to talk your son into giving you a granddaughter grin

Miniature collectors are not just children or even women. There are many men as well. I think you can find a buyer for this.

I have it posted on several facebook groups. idea

LOTS of people 'liked' it. applaud

Several people want it. notme

One lady offered $200. uhuhh

Three people said it was way under priced. (with examples of other houses for sale) docs

One lady got irate and said I shouldn't have bought the raffle tickets if I didn't want the doll house, and I certainly have no right to sell it. I should have just told the church to pick another ticket!!!! (she is pissed off cuz she didn't win it for her daughter, who REALLY wanted it!!!) cry

What fun!!! haha

kilroy Some of the furniture that you can't really see are an old ice box, cast iron stove, pots and pans and a puppy licking up a bucket of spilled milk in the kitchen.
The sewing room has an old singer sewing machine, sewing baskets, dress dummy and a magazine rack.
Elsewhere, there is a pool table, bikes, trikes, lamps throughout, globes, wreaths, desks, dressers, a grandfather clock,m, a claw foot bathtub and basin in the bathroom... The windows all open and close.
Its a shame that there aren't electric lights though. egad

My Husband's Retired Uncle used to put Doll House kits together for something to do in the winter.

I guess you could do that Bill, and make one with lights--(there are kits for such things)

WE have 2 Doll houses and furniture in the basement.
One was given to my oldest DD by an Uncle & Aunt. He was a minister & he either won it or a member gave it to him (I don't remember which) and he gave it to Valarie.

Then, of course, when my youngest got older, we had to buy her one....sadly it was not as big or grand as the first one.

That's a pretty cool prize Bill; at some point I need to figure to get something like that for my little munchkin, but I think I'm safe for a couple of more years (she's only 17 months, lol).

Aww, it reminds me of the beautiful one that the farmer in Babe created for his grand-daughter, but she was horrible and hated it because she was nasty and spoiled. Lol, my heart always broke for him at that point, because he spent SOOO much time making it amazing.
